Call For Paper 2018

Call for Paper:  Present your Knowledge at the FPGA-Congress 2019

The FPGA-Congress 2019 will take place from May 21st – 23rd in Munich. Do you want to be a speaker at Germany’s biggest conference on programmable logic and systems? Then send us your topic now.
How do I create a powerful yet energy-efficient system within minimal space requirements? How can I guarantee my Embedded System to be both secure and future-proof? And which role will FPGAs play in upcoming trends like 5G Communications or Artificial Intelligence?

Trends and Topics at the FPGA Congress 2019

These and other questions were vividly discussed at last years’ FPGA congress – and they will also be central themes in the development of embedded systems for the upcoming year. This does also include not only general Applications of FPGAs and SoCs and areas like Video Processing, Board Design or Safety and Security. Tips for Debugging and Verificating FPGA designs, Tools for development and testing and new improvements in RTL languages will always remain relevant.

All these and more will be central topics at the FPGA Congress 2019. A special focus will lie on the upcoming technologies and trends in system development. FPGAs will play an important role in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning – not only for training neural networks, but also in the inference stage in edge devices. Within Communications, a traditional field for the use FPGAs, the devices will even play a more important role than ever before – especially within technologies and markets like 5G Networking, Cloud Computing & Acceleration or the widespread Industry 4.0.

Become a Speaker – Send in your Abstracts

Would you like to be a speaker and share your knowledge with a broad audience? Submit a presentation title and a concise summary of your possible presentation (approx. 2000 characters) in German or English via the online form at www.FPGA-kongress.de. Presentations can be held in either English or German and over a time period of either 45 or 90 minutes. Please state the language and duration of your presentation when submitting your abstract. Should you prefer a specific date, please indicate this as well.
The Call for Paper ends on November 30th, after which the proposals received will be evaluated by the Congress Advisory Board.
